It doesn't seem like the fall colours lasted very long this year. Or maybe that's just me. With all the rain we had plus being indoors with the flu for two weeks, I didn't get out to enjoy the changing leaves as much as I would have liked. The flu hit me hard the day of Halloween and by the time I got out again yesterday, the leaves were gone. My neighbour's maple tree was the most beautiful shade of gold but I never got a chance to photograph it. There's always next year, right?

I'm sorry you spent so much time indoors...but with good reason! Glad you are feeling better and able to enjoy this beautiful, unexpected weather! That first shot is gorgeous -- looks like pure gold!
beautiful shots! love the golden colors!
Yes Lynda, there is always next year and these photos are still beautiful, I just hope you feel back to normal by now and are out taking lots of photographs in this beautiful sunshine we are having :)
Lovely golden moments, Lynday... And the nice thing is autumn always comes round again. It went fast here too! Happy Days ((HUGS))
So sorry to hear that you got the flu. And then for two weeks. Wow! You are very right though...there is always next year. But autumn never lasts long enough to me as it is my favorite season.
Hugs ~
